East Oakland Tribe is closely connected to the FunkTown or San Antonio District, just a mile east of Lake Merritt. The site was founded through community service and sponsors local events, youth sports and after school clubs primarily through Trybe Inc. As the vision to bring the church to the community starting happening, the community began to want a church.  We are currently thinking though what we would like to do in terms of a worship service, we'd love for you to be a part of that discussion.
