Jesus in Berkeley 2018
Pastor Dennis has been invited to give the message to this year’s group of Berkeley Freshmen at the Jesus in Berkeley event on campus this coming Wednesday. Jesus in Berkeley is an event held every year by the Campus Christian Fellowships to welcome incoming students to Berkeley. Please pray for Pastor Dennis, his message and that we make connections for our College Ministry.
Tilden Camping Trip
Friday, August 17 5:00pm-Sunday, August 19 9:00am
There is still time to join us for our end of Summer Camping Trip up in Beautiful Tilden Park! There will be hiking, fishing, campfires, games, the Little Farm and Free Time to relax and have fun. Cost: $15 per person or $35 per household-we have 75 spots available on a first come first serve basis. You can come for all or just part of the weekend.
Back to School Grants
This is an opportunity to give kids a great start to the new school and to help them succeed. Please help Trybe help 10 Oakland families with start of the school year supplies and expenses. We are hoping to raise $1000 to match $1000 a donor comitted to Trybe for a total of $2000 or $200 per family. If we raise more, Trybe will give out more grants to families.

Tuesday Night Community Group
6:30-7:45pm @ the Parks
We are going to start up the Tuesday Night Homegroup again starting this coming week at the Park's house. This is a great time for community, worship and Jesus. Dinner will be provided. Tuesday nights 6:30pm-7:45pm-come out and join us! And children are welcome! Contact Andrew Park for more info.

Tribe Mom's Group / Playgroup @ Tribe Nursery
Thursdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm

NorOak Playgroup @ Golden Gate Rec Center - ON SUMMER BREAK
Wednesdays from 10am to 11:45am
A playgroup for parents/caregivers with their children ages 0 to 5. Join us for free play, circle time, singing, reading, arts/crafts, gardening, outdoor play and a chance to get know other families from the neighborhood.
