Happy Thursday!
This Sunday September 23rd Steve will be preaching at Berkeley Tribe at 11am at 2509 Hillegass Ave., Berkeley. Would love to have you all there in support and to worship together!
On Saturday the 29th we're going to have a game day/hang out at Steve & Audrey's house in the afternoon, more details to come on that very soon.
Several folks have also expressed a desire to get together weekly on a weekday evening to learn more about the Bible and discuss how it can impact our everyday lives.
We are planning to get something going around the middle of September, so if you haven't already, please let me know if you might be interested in that and if so which evening might work best for you.
Our weekly pre-school play group is back in action. It's on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:45am at the Golden Gate Rec Center (1075 62nd St., Oakland) and will run through November. If you, or anyone you know, who have kids age 0-5, might be interested just come on by any time!
As we continue our new series this fall discovering the way Jesus surprised people and brought the unexpected, I'm hoping to restart up post on my blog. I haven't started writing in it yet this fall, but hopefully I'll get something up there in the next week or two.
