Happy Friday!

Our next worship gathering is this Sunday, September 9th @ the Golden Gate Rec Center at our former usual time: 4:30-6:00pm including a potluck dinner at the end. Here's the facebook event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/722843568052223

Several folks have also expressed a desire to get together weekly on a weekday evening to learn more about the Bible and discuss how it can impact our everyday lives.

We are planning to get something going around the middle of September, so if you haven't already, please let me know if you might be interested in that and if so which evening might work best for you.

Our weekly pre-school play group is starting back up again on September 12th. It's on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:45am at the Golden Gate Rec Center. If you, or anyone you know, is interested just come on by any time!

As we continue our new series this fall discovering the way Jesus surprised people and brought the unexpected, I'm hoping to restart up post on my blog. I haven't started writing in it yet this fall, but hopefully I'll get something up there in the next week or two. A couple dates to mark on your calendars for later in September: on the 23rd Steve will be preaching at Berkeley Tribe in the morning at 11am, so come on out for that.

And then on the 29th we're tentatively going to have a game day/hang out at Steve & Audrey's house in the afternoon, more details to come on that.
